I have an acoustically treated studio in Kings Heath Birmingham with an arsenal of microphones, preamps. I am also mobile and can do location recording on request.
I take on projects big and small, from spoken word/narration to classical, jazz, rock, metal indie, acoustic and dance. ​

I have access to some top UK and international session players who I work with regularly, and get heavily discounted rates that I can pass on to my clients.

Session PLayers
I work with some of the top session players in the UK and internationally on a regular basis, giving me access to preferential rates.
I can help write parts if need be with vocal harmonies, horns or string arrangement and will record/edit any parts you need.
This works well for singer songwriters who want to play with a band, or existing bands who want to add a string or horn section for the studio version of a track.
I am unaware of anyone/anywhere offering musicians at this quality at these rates, and I am running a limited time discount too so get in touch and lets make this happen!
Location recording

Tape Delay

The Echo Fix EFX-2 is a modern remake of the the Roland Space Echo, one of the most famous pieces of kit and made famous by reggae and dub producers of every generation.
There is something really special about using real tape, while computer emulations exist there really is no analogue!

Singer Songwriters with Session Musicians
This track was written by a local singer songwriter for a theatrical performance.
I arranged Guitar, bass, drums and organ parts, and recorded them with session players.

Horn/String Section Recording and arrangement
The track expectations by Electric Swing Circus had a live horn section. Each instrument was recorded on its own, edited and then blended into a recording of the section .

Vocal reels
Charlotte Szabo, a professional singer with a background in musical theatre, private, performing with a live band at private functions as well as touring festival productions.
Backing tracks were supplied and vocals were recorded and mixed.

Orchestral Composition
I have a unique approach to orchestral recording, using a mixture of real players and virtual instruments. Significantly cheaper than a real orchestra, but much more lifelike than a virtual one.
Most producers don't have access to the session musicians to make this viable, making this truly unique.
